Turnkey thicknessSENSOR systems precisely measure the thickness of strip and plate materials within the production line even with high dynamics. This non-contact, and wear-free optical solution is extremely compact. Furthermore, it offers a user-friendly web interface where eight user-specific settings can be stored and exported. The measurement task can be optimized via the signal peak selection function and freely adjustable signal averaging.

If hotspots in automation, machine building and plant monitoring are recognized automatically, both effective and reliable process control is possible. The intelligent thermoMETER TIM 8 pyrometer offers this automatic spot finder function. In standalone operation, hot and cold spots are detected with an excellent spatial resolution and very small measurement spot size. The direct analog output makes the pyrometer suitable for OEM applications. Temperature measurements are possible between -20 °C and 900 °C.
