The optoCONTROL 2520-46(090) optical micrometers combine a compact design with a lens angled by 90° in a unique way. This enables full flexibility with regards to the installation position. The precision micrometers detect diameter, gaps and segmentation of objects. A user-friendly web interface is used to perform set up and configuration, which enables readings and limit values to be displayed as well as the selection and application of filters. A video signal is available to configure the measurement task.

While conventional pyrometers operate at their limits in the metals industry when surrounded by dust, smoke or vapors, the new thermoMETER CTRatio glass fiber ratio pyrometer provides precise measurement values. It is used for industrial temperature measurements from +250 °C to +3000 °C. The short response time of 1 ms enables the monitoring of high speed processes. The robust glass fiber ratio pyrometer can be used in ambient temperatures up to 200 °C without requiring any cooling. A high temperature version for ambient temperatures up to 315 °C is also available.

Confocal sensors precisely determine distances on different surfaces and measure the thickness of transparent materials with the highest precision. Micro-Epsilon has extended its product range with two new sensors that open up multiple new application areas. Due to its high tilt angle, the confocalDT IFS2407-3 is particularly designed for curved surfaces. The IFS2404/90-2 is designed for restricted installation spaces, primarily for serial applications. If hotspots in automation, machine building and plant monitoring are recognized automatically, both effective and reliable process control is possible. The intelligent thermoMETER TIM 8 pyrometer offers this automatic spot finder function. In standalone operation, hot and cold spots are detected with an excellent spatial resolution and very small measurement spot size. The direct analog output makes the pyrometer suitable for OEM applications. Temperature measurements are possible between -20 °C and 900 °C.
