The new thermoIMAGER TIM QVGA thermal imaging camera combines a compact size and high resolution with high speed. The camera is ideally suited to monitoring tasks in industrial processes. With a frame rate up to 80 Hz and a resolution of 382 x 288 pixels, the thermoIMAGER TIM QVGA operates quickly and reliably in a temperature range from -20 °C to 900 °C. In addition, for temperatures up to 1500 °C a special model is available.

In the water sports center in Leipzig, athletes and future Olympic athletes train in water diving. In order to achieve optimal training results, height-adjustable diving platforms are used. These enable the athletes to jump from individual heights. The system also has considerable advantages for synchronized divers because the towers can be moved to the same height. Draw-wire sensors from Micro-Epsilon ensure that the towers are always in the exact position.

The next generation of confocal sensors from Micro-Epsilon is designed to precisely determine distances and the thickness of transparent materials. The confocalDT IFS2407-3 and the confocalDT IFS 2404/90-2 solve multiple new measurement tasks involving curved surfaces and restricted installation spaces with serial applications. Combined with the confocalDT controllers, confocal systems from Micro-Epsilon achieve measuring rates up to 70 kHz.

The new thermoMETER CTRatio pyrometer provides accurate results with non-contact temperature measurements in harsh, industrial environments. Unlike conventional pyrometers, it delivers constant measurement results even when surrounded by dust, smoke and vapors, as well as with contaminated lenses or when the object is moving within the measuring field. Its green sighting laser is a new feature that enables improved positioning.

The new CFS2-M11 and CFS2-M20 circular sensors from Micro-Epsilon recognize the finest of color graduations, even on demanding, shiny metallic and structured surfaces. For stable and precise color recognition, the sensors uniformly illuminate the target in a circular manner, which enables them to recognize the exact shade of color. They are used, among other things, in the paper, textiles, plastics and automotive industries.

The new scanCONTROL 30xx laser scanners offer the highest performance and are used for high speed and precise 2D/3D measurement tasks. These compact and lightweight profile sensors are equipped with the High Dynamic Range mode intended for measurements on inhomogeneous surfaces. In addition, the user can freely select different operating modes for individual requirements.

The optoNCDT 1220, 1320 and 1420 laser triangulation sensors from sensor specialist Micro-Epsilon set a new standard for displacement and distance measurements. With a miniature light spot size, these small, smart and precise sensors measure displacements and distances even of smallest components. They can be used, for example, in automation technology, machine building or on robots.

Faster, more precise, higher productivity - these are the key requirements when developing new machine tools. If, however, the tool is incorrectly positioned in these high-performance machines, this leads to massive machining errors or machine damage. Inductive induSENSOR LVP sensors therefore continuously and reliably monitor the clamping position in machine tools. The measuring method is non-contact and wear-free. It is used for optical displacement and distance measurements on red-hot glowing, organic or (semi-)transparent objects. These Blue Laser sensors provide extremely stable signals while offering outstanding focusing capability.
